Started in 1999 by Charlotte Leung, her wedding dress label "Augusta Jones", set out to do things differently. Charlotte needed a range of bridal gowns that would fulfil three basic requirements: beautiful styling; flexibility of the range to suit a variety of shapes; and affordability. The dilemma was finding an existing line that could fulfil all three criteria. In the end she designed a small line for her own shop to offer brides these options.
With the success of her initial bridal collection, she was encouraged to launch the range in England in September 1999. The label is now available in over 150 shops worldwide and The Pantiles Bride has been stocking them from the very start.
Even 12 years later the label is still affordable with most designs selling between £1400 to £1900. |
